The MZ-N920, which emphasizes enriching recording/playback and one-touch transfer, is almost designed according to its predecessor, the MZ-N910. The matte acrylic charging dock enhances the overall quality.
The Net MD comes with a new version of Sonic Stage Ver. 2.0, and the main unit itself has a built-in USB port, allowing for Net MD operation without relying on the charging dock, with a maximum speed of 64x. "MD Simple Burner" allows for simple one-touch CD to MD music transfer.
The N920 is Sony's first recorder with a strengthened high-quality digital amplifier and TYPE-S music detail restoration. In addition, the VPT simulated sound effects and fine-tuned six-band tone range are also present.
As a member of the "N" series, which was born in '01 as MD moved towards the internet generation, the N920 puts an end to the series under the overall performance of not being very outstanding in the market.
