接連登場形色重口味的Sharp MD，有些急轉彎的迎來了大異其趣的MD-SS401~

作為'97年圓形系列設計語言在SS401

大面留白上作為焦點的半圓銘牌裝飾似乎暗示著SS401的沉穩氣質，環繞著小巧的操作鍵貫徹強調'97年圓形主題的設計核心。

擁有直覺滑順的Slot In入退 / 碟亮點的同時，還更進一步由以往碩大的長方形變身為口袋尺寸的小巧機身。

採用Slot in機構，有別於一般貝殼機構繁瑣的機蓋開開關關，僅需One Touch以水平向滑順快速地入 / 出光碟。不過Slot In需要較多的空間占比機身也較厚重些。

新型液晶線控搭載背光照明，無論外出或暗處等各場合都點出炫目美麗的科技意象。

音訊的壓縮 / 解碼採用ATRAC 24Bit，獲得清晰、具延伸感並提升微信號的再現性，享受寬廣動態的高音質~

Following the succession of colorful and bold Sharp MDs, the MD-SS401 arrives with a starkly different and distinctively elegant appeal.

As part of the circular design language of the '97 series, the SS401 features a prominent semi-circular nameplate on a largely blank surface, hinting at its composed demeanor. This design emphasizes the '97 circular theme, surrounding the compact control buttons.

Boasting an intuitive, smooth Slot In insertion/ejection mechanism, it has transformed from a bulky rectangular form into a pocket-sized compact body.

The Slot In mechanism, unlike the cumbersome shell mechanism that requires constant opening and closing of the lid, allows for quick and smooth horizontal disc insertion/ejection with just one touch. However, the Slot In requires more space, making the body thicker and heavier.

The new LCD remote control is equipped with backlighting, creating a dazzling technological image suitable for various scenarios, whether outdoors or in the dark.

The audio compression/decoding employs ATRAC 24Bit, achieving clear, extended sound reproduction with enhanced fidelity, allowing for high-quality audio with wide dynamic range.

The rechargeable battery provides play 6hrs, though it requires a rather long charging time of 3hrs. Alternatively, using AA x1 for play 4hrs.
