不變應萬變

Sharp官方指出，MD正以年輕人為中心正式迎向高速成長期。可錄式隨身聽在室內作為錄音，外出則是攜變的隨身聽，而在車內則化身為汽車音響的多樣化型態而擁有高度需求。本次以優秀的操作性、外出時發揮"真價"的長效續航及對應個人~商業需求等一機多用的機型提案。

一如既往地大面積留白，並以幾何、線條的幾何圖形的按鍵即裝飾元素，Sharp的設計師們似乎受到了歐洲產品設計的啟蒙，讓MD-MS200展現出不同於標準日式美學的都會流行感。

雖然作為時隔一年之久的新作('96年Sharp沒有錄音機型推出)，較為遺憾仍沿用前作'95年MD-MS100架構，整體上可將其視為加強版~

充電池擁有REC 7 / Play 9.5的極長效也是年度最強的續航力，併用時更多達REC 25 / Play 35小時，只是相對地為AAx 6才得以達成的豐功偉業~外接電池盒需額外花¥2,000大洋加購。

音訊的壓縮 / 解碼ATRAC採用了MD初　24Bit ATRAC提升微信號的再現性，創造寬廣的錄音 / 放動態高音質~

採用了以水平向快速入 / 出光碟Slot In機構，實現One Touch滑順的光碟裝載體驗，不過Slot In需要較多的空間占比機身也較"厚實穩重"些。

貼心功能"Synchro REC"，錄音時偵測3秒以上音訊的有無而連動錄音的啟動 / 暫停，讓錄音編輯更為輕鬆簡便。Mono限定的2x 快速撥放可針對如漫長的會議錄音效率地確認內容。Time Auto Mark則可針對3 / 5 / 10min作定時標記。

機身內建Sampling・Rate Converter(取樣轉換)，對應如BS衛星節目、DAT等不同頻率的數位格式錄音。

採用分離式3.5mm耳機線控讓用家能任意搭配耳機使用。只是都來到'97年了，很遺憾地線控竟還不具備液晶螢幕...

Unchanging Amidst Change

Sharp officials point out that MD is officially entering a period of rapid growth centered around young people. The MD serves as a recording device indoors, a portable player outdoors, and transforms into a car audio system in vehicles, reflecting diverse usage demands. This proposal emphasizes excellent operability, long-lasting battery life suitable for extended use outdoors, and catering to personal and commercial needs with a versatile model.

Consistent with its style, featuring large blank areas and geometric button designs, Sharp's designers seem inspired by European product design, giving the MD-MS200 a metropolitan and trendy feel distinct from standard Japanese aesthetics.

Though it's a new release after a year ('96, Sharp didn't introduce recording models), it's somewhat disappointing that it still follows the framework of its predecessor, the '95 MD-MS100, essentially considered an enhanced version. The battery boasts exceptional longevity with REC 7 / Play 9.5 hrs, and when used together, extends up to REC 25 / Play 35 hrs, achieved through the remarkable feat of utilizing AA x6. An additional ¥2,000 is required for an external battery box.

For audio compression/decoding, ATRAC employs MD's initial 24Bit ATRAC to enhance signal reproduction, creating wide-ranging recording/playback dynamics and high audio quality. Featuring a horizontal quick-load slot-in mechanism, it offers a smooth one-touch disc loading experience, albeit requiring more space due to the Slot-In design, making the unit relatively "robust and stable."

The thoughtful "Synchro REC" feature detects audio signals of 3 seconds or more to trigger recording start/pause automatically, facilitating easy recording edits. The mono-limited 2x fast play is efficient for reviewing lengthy meeting recordings. Time Auto Mark allows timed markers at 3/5/10 mins intervals.

The device includes a built-in Sampling Rate Converter for recording in various digital formats such as BS satellite programs and DAT with different frequencies. Utilizing a detachable 3.5mm headphone line control enables users to pair headphones at will. However, despite reaching '97, it's regrettable that the line control still lacks an LCD screen...
