Sony發表了光澤塗裝的流行感的小型口袋機型MZ-E70。 在青少年客群中人氣的Blue、White、Yellow三色系，Blue、White採用滑順閃亮的光澤塗裝，Yellow則訴求鋁金屬的磨砂質感呈現。

機體上一道大切的曲線橫跨機身將其一分為二的風格，也許是藉由此表現出青少年族群中叛逆反骨的個性吧，Blue色系限定採用隨角度過渡的變色龍效果。

小巧口袋機型是 入門的定位卻擁有中高階匹敵的81 x 15.7 x 72.9mm小巧口袋機身~

仍沿用了'97年登場的Stick Controller線控，以轉動按壓的操控體感確立MD的設計經典，絢麗的背光照明讓好用與好看兩者兼具。線控端與耳機接頭也採用通規3.5mm，讓用家能任意搭配耳機。

豪氣地配備了領先各家同級的大容量40秒防震記憶。

領先Sharp的低功耗使用鎳氫充電池驅動，雖然入門機型在無法太多要求，不過8.5小時充電池續航還是短促了些。

Sony has introduced the MZ-E70, a stylish compact pocket-sized player with a glossy finish. It comes in three colors popular among young consumers: Blue, White, and Yellow. The Blue and White models feature a smooth, shiny gloss finish, while the Yellow model showcases a brushed aluminum texture.

The design includes a bold, sweeping curve across the body, splitting it into two parts, possibly reflecting the rebellious nature often associated with youth. The Blue version exclusively features a chameleon effect, shifting colors depending on the viewing angle.

Despite being an entry-level model, this compact pocket-sized player, measuring just 81 x 15.7 x 72.9 mm, rivals mid-to-high-end devices.

Backlight controller adopts the same rotating and pressing operation style as last year’s Stick Controller, solidifying the MD’s classic design feel. The remote controller use the standard 3.5mm jack, allowing users to pair it with any earphones of their choice.

It also boasts a best-in-class 40-secs anti-shock memory, outpacing competitors.  

Leading Sharp in energy efficiency, it uses a nickel-metal hydride rechargeable battery. However, while it is an entry-level device, the 8.5-hour battery life still feels somewhat short.
