有別於Pioneer自家音響產品大方端正的風格樣式，一身銀白淨亮的PMD-P1以幾何線條勾勒出獨特的造型特色~

有別於一般貝殼機構繁瑣的機蓋開開關關，僅需One Touch以水平向直覺滑順地快速入 / 出光碟。不過Slot In需要較多的空間占比讓機身較為厚重。雖然官方號稱薄型主軸馬達與薄型機構的採用達成輕巧纖薄地機身的聲明聽來顯得有些勉強。

光充電池即擁有讓人咋舌的10小時續航，不過通常作為附屬品的外接電池盒則為選購配件(¥2,000)~

配備液晶線控有著與整體不符比例的小巧螢幕，可顯示英/數/片假名，並採分離式3.5mm耳機接頭，完整支援所有品牌耳機更換使用。

不若一般隨身聽提供的色系選項，Pioneer則以很特別地以種風格的收納套(City Type PMD-P1-C、Field Type PMD-P1-F)選擇，來對應兩種不同型號。

Easy Operation + Long Battery Life

Unlike Pioneer's own audio products with a dignified and formal style, the silver-white PMD-P1 features a unique geometric design.

Diverging from the intricate shell mechanism of conventional disc players, the PMD-P1, with its sleek silver appearance, employs geometric lines to create a distinctive style. The One Touch horizontal disc loading/unloading mechanism operates smoothly and intuitively, avoiding the complexity of traditional hinged covers. However, the Slot-In design occupies more space, making the device relatively hefty. Although the official claim of a slim body achieved through the use of a thin spindle motor and mechanism may sound somewhat forced.

The rechargeable battery boasts an astonishing 10-hour battery life, but the external battery case, usually provided as an accessory, is available for purchase (¥2,000).

Equipped with an LCD remote control featuring a small screen disproportionate to the overall size, it displays English/numbers/katakana and comes with a detachable 3.5mm headphone jack, offering full compatibility with headphones of various brands.

Unlike typical portable audio players that offer color options, Pioneer uniquely provides storage pouches (City Type PMD-P1-C, Field Type PMD-P1-F) corresponding to two different models.
