雖然Hitach在7、80年代有積極參入音響事業，不過作夢也沒想到Hitachi竟然也跑來MD湊一腳，而在'93年Hitachi即以自家音響品牌Lo-D發售MD隨身聽。

機身原型可能來自Sharp MD-M11。大膽美麗的珊瑚配色以集約式按鍵規劃營造出留白的非平衡造型，招蜂引蝶般的大膽亮麗恰恰正如網友形容般漂亮得很"淫蕩"~

MD特有的光磁原理，可簡單隨意地對將錄音內容執行合併、分割、移動、抹除，也支援文字輸入功能，展現強大編輯性能。

長型液晶螢幕有著高閱讀性的大型文字，只是粗厚的梯形外框顯得擁擠了些。

對應外部數位 / 類比 / MIC訊源錄音並配備奢華的光纖(數位)輸出，搭載Dynamic Bass 音效。

附帶了基本線控操作，可惜耳機與線控一體設計，日後耳機耗損時線控得一併更換。

為了對應更需電量的Recorder，採用新型鋰充電池，2小時的充電時間換來2.5小時續航，同時支援1.5小急速充電。外接龐大的電池盒(AAx 6)則一口氣提升至錄6.5 / 放9小時。

可能由於配色"獨特"加上品牌名氣不盛之故，在同期的OEM系列作中堪稱是最量少珍稀了。-而Hitachi也僅曇花一現地此Only One後自此消聲匿跡...

Annual Beautiful Work

Although Hitachi had actively entered the audio industry in the 1970s and 1980s, it was unexpected for Hitachi to join the MD market. In fact, in 1993, Hitachi launched its first MD player under its own audio brand Lo-D.

While it also used an OEM version, it featured a bold and beautiful coral color that was described by netizens as "seductive" due to its bold and vibrant appearance.

The elongated LCD screen and large text made for simple and intuitive reading, but the thick trapezoidal screen border appeared visually crowded.

Equipped with luxurious independent fiber optic input/output terminals and a three-stage X-Bass sound effect, it also came with an integrated line control operation. Unfortunately, it did not use a separate design, so the line control would have to be replaced along with the headphones in the future.

The battery life was not very useful, with only 2 hours of recording and 2.5 hours of playback, but it was fortunate that an external battery box could be used to increase the battery life to a maximum of 6.5 hours of recording and 9 hours of playback.

Perhaps due to its "unique" color and the lack of brand popularity, it is considered to be the rarest of the OEM models released during the same period. It is also unfortunate that Hitachi's MD player was a flash in the pan, and this Only One model disappeared without a trace after its release.
